"There's Something in My Eye" is a 2-minute animated short film about a girl overwhelming with suppressed grief as she mourns a memory of the past, encountering a whimsical little critter who guides her towards learning how to release.
As director, I have:
• Led a 20-member team over five months, scripted, directed, and assisted producing a 2-minute emotionally resonant animated short film; coordinated and provided creative revision across the entire pipeline from pre-production to post-production.
• Actively contributed to and creatively directed multiple production teams, composed original music score, and explored the dynamic adaptation of Impressionist oil painting styles through animation.
• Created pipeline guides and annotated pages that provide step-by-step assistance on the film's technical and creative direction.
• Collaborated with the Art Director (Jasmine Lin) to create an art book for the film, preparing materials for promotional use and film festival submissions.
